Howdy!
As you may or may not know, Inge and I have just spent the past two years serving in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia. The past two years have been tough, but we've stuck it out through the thick and thin and couldn't be more happy with the way things turned out. Both of us have made many new friends and family here that we will miss dearly, and have gotten more from this beautiful country than we could ever have given to it.
Alas, our service is done though, and it's time to move on. While most our friends are heading home to be with family and friends, we decided that we just haven't had enough of the world. Plus, we don't really miss our friends and family all that much (just kidding!). So instead of heading back to Texas, we thought we'd take the long way home and go east!
Over the next four months Inge and I will be traveling through Southeast Asia, exploring Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam along the way. A little ambitious we know, but we've kind of got a plan to get it done. We leave Ethiopia today (Friday) and will post at least once a week, so if you're interested in hearing how our trip goes click to follow our blog right now!
